Baudouin Peeters est un passionné de hockey depuis toujours. Il a essayé de faire connaître et apprécier notre sport auprès du plus grand nombre, en étant notamment à la base de sa présence en télé.

En juin dernier, il a participé au Bike For Comequi (https://www.bikeforcomequi.com) avec, entre autres Jacques Borlée et Bob Verbeeck. Il s'agissait d'un défi sportif au profit des projets de l'association Comequi au Kivu, en RD Congo.
Lors de ce voyage, il a pu visiter le chantier d'une nouvelle école à Goma, la Kivu International School, qui prône l'excellence et qui fait une grande place au sport.
C'est en retournant sur place à la Toussaint qu'il a pu revoir l'école opérationnelle avec l'Arena Indoor et le terrain synthétique sortis de terre : un véritable tour de force en à peine quelques mois ! Depuis septembre 2017, l'école accueille déjà 150 élèves.

veut faire de ses élèves des citoyens motivés, responsables et entreprenants. Des jeunes capables de comprendre l’environnement et le monde qui les entourent, possédant les atouts pour y jouer un rôle et contribuer à son amélioration. Tout est à l’avenant dans l’école, avec une place importante pour le sport et la musique.
Cette école est soutenue par des basketteurs de renom comme Bismarck Biyombo et Guy Muya qui ont permis de financer la construction au sein de l'école d'une Arena indoor pour les sports d'équipe.
Jamais en panne d'idées novatrices, la direction de l'école a comme projet de lancer la pratique du hockey en son sein, une grande première au Congo !
A côté du basket, cette école sera la première au Congo à permettre la pratique du hockey indoor (Arena multi sports) et outdoor (sur un petit synthétique sablé).
Les promoteurs de l'école ont demandé à Baudouin de les aider à relever ce défi !
Baudouin a tout de suite accepté et contacté à son retour Philippe Demaret et Hockey Player pour les aider dans la réalisation de ce magnifique projet de promotion du hockey.

Le but de l'action serait de fournir un équipement complet pour 150 enfants de 6 à 17 ans pour pouvoir s'adonner au hockey . Stick, balle, tenue complète (maillot, short, chaussettes), chaussures, protège-tibias et protèges-dents : de quoi équiper ces enfants et ados comme nous tous quand nous pratiquons tout naturellement notre sport favori...

Baudouin Peeters is al lange tijd een hockeyliefhebber. Hij probeerde onze sport bekend te maken en gewaardeerd door zoveel mogelijk mensen, met name door zijn aanwezigheid op TV.

Afgelopen juni nam hij deel aan de Bike For Comequi (https://www.bikeforcomequi.com) met onder andere Jacques Borlée en Bob Verbeeck. Het was een sportieve uitdaging voor de projecten van de vereniging Comequi in Kivu, DR Congo.
Tijdens deze reis kon hij een bezoek brengen aan de bouwplaats van een nieuwe school in Goma, de Kivu International School, die uitmuntendheid promoot en veel nadruk legt op sport.
Tijdens zijn terugkeer ter plaats tijdens de Allerheiligendag kon hij de operationele school met de Arena Indoor en het synthetische veld dat net uit de grond was gekomen, bekijken: een echte "tour de force" in slechts enkele maanden! Sinds september 2017 heeft de school al 150 leerlingen ontvangen.

wil haar studenten gemotiveerd, verantwoordelijk en ondernemend maken. Jongeren die het milieu en de wereld om hen heen kunnen begrijpen, die over de troeven beschikken om een rol te spelen en bij te dragen aan de verbetering ervan. Alles is afgestemd op de school, met een belangrijke plek voor sport en muziek.
Deze school wordt ondersteund door gerenommeerde basketbalspelers zoals Bismarck Biyombo en Guy Muya, die de bouw van een indoor arena voor teamsporten binnen de school hielpen financieren.
Nooit opraken van innovatieve ideeën, de school management plannen om de praktijk van hockey te lanceren in zijn boezem, voor de allereerste keer in Congo !
Naast basketbal is deze school de eerste in Congo die indoor hockey (Arena multisport) en outdoor hockey (op een klein zandstraald kunstmatig) zal toelaten.
De promotors van de school vroegen Baudouin om hen te helpen in deze boeinde uitdaging
Baudouin accepteerde en nam onmiddellijk contact op met Philippe Demaret en Philippe Hoed bij zijn terugkeer om hen te helpen bij de uitvoering van dit prachtige hockeypromotieproject.

Het doel van de actie zou zijn 150 kinderen van 6 tot 17 jaar te voorzien van volledige uitrusting om hockey te spelen. Stick, bal, volledige outfit (shirtn broek/jurk, sokken, schoenen, scheenbeschermers en tandenbeschermers: wat te geven aan deze kinderen en tieners zoals wij allemaal wanneer we natuurlijk onze favoriete sport beoefenen...

Baudouin Peeters has been a hockey enthusiast for a long time. He tried to make our sport known and appreciated by as many people as possible, notably by being at the base of his presence on TV.

Last June, he took part in the Bike For Comequi (https://www.bikeforcomequi.com) with Jacques Borlée and Bob Verbeeck, among others. It was a sporting challenge for the benefit of the projects of the Comequi association in Kivu, DR Congo.
During this trip, he was able to visit the construction site of a new school in Goma, the Kivu International School, which promotes excellence and places great importance on sport.
It was while returning to Congo in october that he was able to review the operational school with the Arena Indoor and the synthetic pitch that had just come out of the ground: a real "tour de force" in just a few months! Since September 2017, the school has already welcomed 150 students.

Baudouin immediately accepted and contacted Philippe Demaret and Philippe Hoed upon his return to help them carry out this magnificent hockey promotion project.
